How Much Support Can Your Business Receive?

EDGE provides funding support based on the business type, selected activity and applicable requirements.
Annual Grant Cap
S$100,000 per UEN / financial year
The S$100,000 annual grant cap is shared across eligible EDGE activities and resets each financial year.
Digitalisation & selected activities
Up to S$30,000 within the annual S$100,000 grant cap may be used for single-function digital solutions, integrated enterprise systems and pre-scoped equipment.

Eligibility
A Singapore-registered business entity with at least 30% Singaporean and/or Singapore PR ownership may be eligible for EDGE Grant support. Additional requirements may apply depending on the selected activity.
Projects may be eligible if they involve:
- A genuinely new solution that has not yet been implemented.
- A major redevelopment or overhaul that introduces and implements new components.
- Implementation at a new physical outlet or expansion into a new business area.
- Expansion into a completely new service scope.
Retrospective Rules
Your application is considered retrospective if you have started work or made any payment or deposit to a supplier, vendor or third party before submitting your application. Retrospective applications will not be supported.
New vs Existing Projects
EDGE support is intended for eligible new projects. Existing implementations, renewals, subscriptions, maintenance and minor modifications may not qualify. Eligibility depends on the scope and requirements of the selected activity.
Cost Cap
Each EDGE activity may have an applicable Cost Cap. Grant support is calculated based on eligible costs within the applicable cap, while any amount above the cap must be funded by the business.
What IT Projects Can EDGE Support?
EDGE supports a range of digitalisation and technology-related activities. The applicable support level, requirements, and cost caps depend on the selected activity.

Not all IT solutions are automatically eligible for EDGE Grant support. Eligibility depends on the relevant EDGE activity and its specific requirements.
How to Apply
Follow these seven steps to apply for EDGE Grant support under the Digitalisation business area, from selecting a vendor package to submitting your claim.
Step 1: Find a Listed Vendor Package
Pre-approved vendors list their approved base packages on the SMEs Go Digital Platform.
Step 2: Choose Your Vendor Package
The client selects the preferred solution and vendor base package through the SMEs Go Digital Platform.
Step 3: Build Your Package
The client creates and configures the package using the Package Builder.
Corppass authentication is required to save the package under the relevant UEN account.
Step 4: Obtain the Quotation
The vendor prepares an official quotation that corresponds with the package created by the client. The package and quotation may be prepared in either order, but both must match before the BGP application is submitted.
Step 5: Apply Through BGP
The client submits the grant application through the Business Grants Portal (BGP) using the relevant Package ID and quotation. Vendors cannot submit the BGP application on behalf of their clients.
Step 6: Start the Project
The client may choose to start the project while waiting for BGP approval, but any work or payments made during this period are at the client’s own risk.
Step 7: Complete the Project and Submit Your Claim
After completing the project and meeting the applicable requirements, the client submits the claim through BGP with the required supporting documents, including proof of usage where applicable.
For the relevant Digitalisation process, one month of usage must be provided as proof for grant disbursement.

Overall EDGE support can be up to 70% for eligible SMEs and 50% for eligible non-SMEs, while actual support levels and funding caps vary by activity.
Can I apply if my IT project has already started?
EDGE Grant applications are not supported if work has started or payment or deposit has been made to a supplier, vendor or third party before the application is submitted.
What should I check before choosing an IT solution?

Can I apply for EDGE if I previously received PSG, EDG or MRA?
Yes, previous recipients may apply for EDGE. However, the same project or solution should not receive grant support twice.
